Our Manufacturing Facilities

We have two manufacturing facilities located in Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Our steel manufacturing plant is a large, fully integrated, highly efficient facility that is designed to produce high-quality Alloy Steel & Stainless Steel products. The facility sees operations that starts with melting, going right up to the final products’ production – in the form of Wires & Bars. The melting shop operation, which in a stainless steel unit is a critical step of the production process, plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products, something that’s synonymous with Mukand Limited.

There are a number of different processes after that to ensure the quality of each of the products produced, achieved through a number of quality assurance and control practices, including inspections and tests. These processes are further backed by certifications, which you can find lower on this page & read about it in more detail on the Quality Assurance section of our website.

Each of our facilities utilise modern technology, such as computerised systems to ensure the highest quality and efficiency is achieved.

Key Factors Followed During the Manufacture of Alloy Steel

We have itemised as line items below, some of the key factors being followed at Mukand using state-of-the-art Spheroidised Annealing Furnaces (Ebner, Radcon, and Salem make) to deliver high-quality Alloy Steel:

  • Mini Blast Furnace - Energy Optimising Furnace - Ladle Furnace - Vacuum Degassing (MBF - EOF - LF - VD) Route is Being Followed to Ensure Clean Steel with Low Inclusion, Low Tramp Levels, Close Chemistry Control, and Very Low Gas Levels.
