Mukand Limited, a Bajaj group company is a leading manufacturer of specialty steel long products and heavy machinery in India, with a turnover of over Rs 5,000 Crore. Incorporated in the year 1937, the company has two divisions namely Steel and Industrial Machinery. The Steel division manufactures specialty steel long products in the form of Wire Rods, Bars, Wires and Bright Bars that feed into the automobile and engineering industries. The Industrial Machinery Division designs, manufactures, assembles and commissions heavy-duty cranes, bulk material handling equipment, process plant machinery and turnkey projects. Mukand produces Alloy Steel from its facility in Hospet, Karnataka and Stainless Steel from its facility in Thane, Maharashtra.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out NDT and prepare required reports
• Coordinate with external service providers for radiographic testing, evaluate results and prepare reports
• Coordinate with external labs for chemical and mechanical testing
• Maintain records of all NDT conducted across products
• Review and highlight non-conforming products and deviations

Position Requirements:

• Incumbent with minimum 5 years experience & NDT Level 2 certification is required. Should be qualified & experienced in the following 4 techniques-
  • UT (ultrasonic Testing)
  • RT (Radiographic Testing)
  • MPT (Magnetic Particle testing )
  • DPT/LPT (Dye/Liquid Penetrant Testing)
• Should hold a Diploma in Any Specialization, B.Tech/ B.E. in Any Specialization.
