Mukand Limited, a Bajaj group company is a leading manufacturer of specialty steel long products and heavy machinery in India, with a turnover of over Rs 5,000 Crore. Incorporated in the year 1937, the company has two divisions namely Steel and Industrial Machinery. The Steel division manufactures specialty steel long products in the form of Wire Rods, Bars, Wires and Bright Bars that feed into the automobile and engineering industries. The Industrial Machinery Division designs, manufactures, assembles and commissions heavy-duty cranes, bulk material handling equipment, process plant machinery and turnkey projects. Mukand produces Alloy Steel from its facility in Hospet, Karnataka and Stainless Steel from its facility in Thane, Maharashtra.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of overhead EOT cranes.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct inspections and testing for safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.
- Assist customers in resolving on-site crane-related issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during servicing.
- Support customer & company by travelling across the assigned Region for on-site support
- Enquiry generation through regular client visits
Position Requirements:
Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of crane mechanisms, motors, gearboxes, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting (VFDs, panels, sensors, etc.).
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
